IMPORTANT updates

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

We are pleased to announce that we will start using the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) from 14th July. For information on EPS please visit: Electronic prescriptions – NHS (www.nhs.uk)

If you take regular medication, please contact your chosen pharmacy to nominate them to receive your electronic prescription – please do not contact the surgery to do this.

If you do not have a pharmacy nominated on the system in time for your next prescription, we will give you a barcode to take to any pharmacy that will allow them to download your prescription.

Dispensary patients – you do not need to do anything; we will continue to dispense your medication here at the surgery.

Covid Vaccines

Following 19 months of successful covid vaccine clinics here at the surgery we will now stand down as a site until the Autumn campaign commences. Covid vaccines are still available at local sites, you can book by either calling 119 or online at Book or manage a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination – NHS (www.nhs.uk)

Immunosuppressed patients will have received a letter via text / email / post which can be used as evidence at a vaccine site if you are yet to have a Spring Booster.

Final guidance for the Autumn campaign is still pending, but we expect to be able to run clinics offering both covid and flu vaccines and will invite eligible patients to book as soon are plans are finalised.

Surgery Closed for Training

We will be closed from 12noon to 4pm on Wednesday 13th July for essential staff training. Please contact 111 if you require medical attention during this time.
