Our 2020 flu campaign has now commenced and clinics are available for all our patients aged 65 and over only. The clinics are strictly by appointment only – please call our Patient Navigation Team on 0118 984 2234 to book your slot.
Patients who have been added to the governments shielding list will be contacted shortly by our Social Prescriber, Lucy Hill, to arrange for you and your household to attend a protected flu clinic exclusively for shielding patients
We are currently waiting on our clinical system to update with the other regular cohorts eligible for an NHS vaccine, usually referred to as ‘at risk’. Once this is in place, clinics for eligible ‘at risk’ 18 – 64 year olds will be opened – this does not include the newly expanded 50 – 64 year old cohort.
Clinics for ‘at risk’ children under 18, and all 2 – 3 year olds will be opened as soon as Public Health England confirms dates for delivery of the vaccine.
Expanded ’50 – 64 year old’ cohort – the government have instructed us to prioritise flu vaccination of the ‘usual’ eligible cohorts, as above. They’re hoping to expand this to the newly added 50-64 year old cohort from November / December onwards. We will update with further information as soon as it is available to us.
Please read the ‘FLU CLINIC SAFETY MEASURES’ news post added to our website on 7/8/20 before attending any of our flu clinics.
