We will be running COVID-19 and flu vaccination clinics as part of the Autumn 2026 vaccination programme, which starts on 1 October 2026.
Eligible patients will be invited to book by text message or telephone throughout September, ahead of clinics taking place in October. Please wait to be invited and do not contact the surgery to book, as this may block our phone lines and prevent patients with urgent medical needs from getting through.
Eligible for both COVID-19 and flu vaccination
The following groups are eligible for both COVID-19 and flu vaccines:
· Adults aged 75 years and over
· Individuals who are severely immunosuppressed
COVID-19 vaccination is only available to patients in these groups.
Eligible for flu vaccination from October 2026
The following groups are eligible for a flu vaccine from October:
· Adults aged 65 years and over
· Adults aged 18–64 years who are in a clinical risk group
· Close household contacts of immunocompromised individuals
· Carers in receipt of Carer's Allowance, or the main carer for an older or disabled person
Eligible for flu vaccination from September 2026
Text invitations have already been sent to the following groups. If you are eligible, please contact the surgery now to book:
· Children aged 2–3 years on 31 August 2026

School-aged children
School-aged children who do not fall into one of the eligible groups above will be offered their flu vaccination through the School Nursing Team. We are not permitted to provide these vaccinations at the surgery.
If your child is home educated or misses the school vaccination session, please contact the School Nursing Team on 0118 904 7325.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our clinics soon.
